How accurate is the CIA World Factbook?

I would like to use some of the figures in an essay, I'd just like to be sure of their accuracy. Thanks!

1. Do you really think they would tell you the truth about anything! You know you can't trust the US govt.!
2. Very accurate ! It's updated regularly and is by the American government.

4. Massively, incredibly, downright accurate. The CIA uses these as references themselves. (The CIA will pay scholars - especially the ones who are brilliant - to edit those works. The decisions of many are made by these books. They have to be accurate or the people of another nation could pay for the mistakes of our scholars.
