What countries in the world have the strongest relationship?

What countries have the best partnership with each other? And I don't mean relationships that are too one sided. I mean countries which are of an equal strength and aren't allies because of the others power. So no: North Korea and China US and Britain Russia and lithuania etc etc I'm thinking Australia and New Zealand

1. probably The United States-Mexico-Canada the top economical countries all in one Continent (north america) if there was a direct attack to any of them they would help each other
