Why are many 1st world countries destined to depopulate quickly?

https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/rankorder/2127rank.html Asian countries are depopulating quickly and so are many European nations. Their fertility rates aren't even close to two. When factoring in deaths they are bound to lose tons of population. What gives?
