Vietnam Memorial and World War II facts?
Are there any strange facts about these locations? Also, is there anything unusual worth looking at or finding out about for both these sites?

- Both of these wars were very crucial. You sound like you are not very interested or know nothing about them, but if you were to take the time to study, you will see how even though the U.S. wasn't very involved at the beginning of either of these, we ended losing so much. In the Vietnam war (1959-1975), the u.s. troops were only active for very few years, I'm not exactly sure which ones anymore, but it traumatized so many u.s. soldiers and many people didn't really give credit to those men who fought for us. it is a very sad war especially cause North Vietnam won out. Vietnam was the longest war I know of. World War II,(1941-1945) the us was not directly involved until the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor Dec 7, 1941. That day is known as " A day that will live in infamy"- Teddy Roosevelt. In the end the war helped the economy in the U.S. to get back on its feet after the great depression.
