Why aren't Hispanics and Middle Easterners represented racially in the World Fact Book of the CIA?
Going on the CIA website and checking the world fact book about the USA's demographics was shocking to find hispanics and middle eastern people totally absent from the demographics. They say hispanics have no racial value, and they can be of any race. The fact is most Hispanics are either Mestizo, White, Amerindian, or Black...so why don;t they represents this? Middle Eastern Americans are totally absent, and i have no idea why. Does anyone know?? I feel ignored as a Hispanic American to live in the world's most historically and ethnically diverse country and not have a group in which the country loves to separate the people into.

- You should be happy you aren't in one of those groups. All the CIA does is fuck with people.
- U need to update ur litterateur.
- Hispanics and or persons of Middle Eastern descent are usually characterized as white by the U.S. government due in part to genetics, i.e, phenotype, genotype, and policy reasons. As a matter of fact, from Scotland to North African countries such as Morocco, citizens of those countries are considered white according to the United States. It must be mentioned that the peoples in those subject countries may not self identify as white, as they affiliate themselves according to country, religion, or language. In addition, the words Hispanic and Middle Eastern connote ethnicity or national origin, designations separate from ones racial group.
