I am confused, how did Jesus's death bring good in the world?
I mean think about the circumstances before and after his death and what God knew. God knows 1. everything 2. past 3. present 4. future Jesus's death 1. After death Jewish people blamed 2. antisemtism begins 3. next 2,000 years Jewish people are feverishly persecuted, killed, enslaved, humiliated, etc. 4. Holocaust, (1933-1945) 5. Israel is now a country (1947) 6. Palentinians try to oust Jewish people out of Israel through a series of three wars Facts about Israel https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/is.html brief history of antisemitism http://www.humanitas-international.org/holocaust/antisem.htm So the question here is if God knows everything, including the past, present, and future and he still carried out his plans to sacrifice his son, even though he knew that antisemitism would be the end result would antisemitism? He clearly created a 2,000 year conflict. He knows the past, present, and future. I mean how could he not see that coming? He sees everything, right? Wasn't there a different way to end the conflict instead of killing his son? What good did that bring? Wait his death was a representation of all the sins right? Isn't God the president of the department of judgment? You know the lead judge? Couldn't he just get rid of the policy that all men go to Hell for their sins and are instead forgiven? This isn't making sense? Why did Jesus do something that God could've done? I mean God was perfectly able to get rid of the idea of people going to Hell for the sins in their life. God is all powerful. Why did he need to send his son, wait 33 years for him to preach and then kill him? He created the world in six days. He could've ended the go to Hell policy with a snap of his two fingers. This isn't making any sense. Adun Toridas: True but when Jesus died 90% of antisemitism came from the saints, apostles, chruch leaders, etc. antisemitism was nothing compared to when Jesus died. Nothing.

- Jewish people were treated poorly even before jesus christ was born.
- "This isn't making any sense." Welcome to Christianity.
- you mean besides the thousands of Christian charities around the world...St. Patrick ending slavery on Ireland, starting from there an end to slavery in the west...funny how you said the world but then honed in on the Jewish people only...hmm...your are not confused...your view is skewed...
- It added punch to the sales pitch. Not that it's a good thing to be Christian, but dying made him famous enough to spread the word.
- After Jesus died, the oppressive Roman empire slowly went into decline. The world was a better place. Unfortunately, nature abhors a vacuum, and what rose up as the new oppressor is what we know today as Christianity. I suppose if you're a Christian, the world is still a better place.
- God says his ways are not our ways, so we might not understand why he does things the way he does. He came to earth as a human, this way you can't say, he doesn't know what it's like to be human. God requires blood to be sacrificed for sins, can you imagine if we all had to kill an animal everytime we sinned, we would have run out of animals along time ago. So God had only one choice and that was to have a sinless human die for the sins of all people of all time. Since nobody can be sinless, and only God himself is sinless, he had to come here as one of us and do it himself. You know what they say, if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. He is the only ticket into heaven, and all you have to do is believe that he died for your sins and God rose him up and he is your God, and say it out loud. There are plenty of free tickets into heaven that Jesus is handing out, but not many are taking them. Without your free ticket from Jesus to get into heaven, Saint Peter isn't going to let you through that gate, he will just whistle to some big evil demons standing by and say, he's yours, he doesn't have a ticket to get in here. and they will escort you into hell and that is where you will be for ever and ever and it won't stop, it's a never ending horror movie. Don't wait, take that ticket now, you might not wake up tomorrow morning on earth, you might wake up at the golden gate, and you better have your ticket.
- OK, god gave his only son to die on the cross to pay for our sins. thats pretty good man
- On the religious side of it, Jesus brought good into each persons world after they die. He opened the gates to Heaven for everyone of us. Each person has the chance to have a perfect life with Him after they die. What is happening now in Israel, about the Holocaust, etc... put that aside and think of how much more time you will have in Heaven to be free from all of that.

- It is acknowledged that Stalin murdered 7 million of his fellow countrymen. To cite that as a reason to turn from a non-believer to a believer is logically unsatisfying. God is not responsible for the way one of His actions is perceived. He has it recorded, and explains it. I am always surprised at how many dogs are being wagged by their tails.
- There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record - that is right - not one!!! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are well recorded!! He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record? Even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!! Pilot is recorded in the Roman record as a somewhat lack luster man but no mention of a Jesus, a trial or crucifixion that would surely have been used to make him look brighter!! At best he was an amalgam of those others!!
- Friend, you are confused. Jesus did not come to bring good into this world. "He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God." (Rm 4:25-5:2) God does not think as men. "His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will clear His threshing floor, gathering His wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire." (Mt 3:12) "So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts." (Eph 4:1718) Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved! May the grace of God be with you this day. Trust in the Lord!
- natural man canot receive the thing of god they are foolishness to him,it must be reveiled by the spirit of god.
